Best of the Best III Winner Brady Stanton is visiting QLD! March 2010
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn from and dance with Australia’s top West Coast Swing dancer! Brady from ‘Third Foot (Adelaide)’ will be teaching 2 x 1 1/2 hour West Coast Swing workshops (Upper Level Basics and Jack and Jill West Coast Swing workshops) on Saturday 6th March between 1-5:30pm at the Wellers Hill Bowls Club (BBQ available between workshops). These workshops are perfect for beginner dancers looking to gain further knowledge on West Coast Swing techniques (including connection), dancers interested in making their social dancing a better experience for your partner or competing in Jack and Jill West Coast Swing competitions. Dancers from all levels will find these workshops extremely informative and useful.
Brady will also be teaching the Monday class at Newmarket Bowls Club on 8th March, and Tuesday class at Wellers Hill Bowls Club on 9th March. Brady will also be available to teach private lessons all weekend from Friday 5th March – Tuesday 9th March.
Not only has Brady just won 1st Place at the recent Best of the Best III Teachers and Demonstrators division in Sydney, but he has also just returned from five months in the United States, during which time he immersed himself in learning as much as possible from the best West Coast Swing dancers in the world. While in the USA, Brady also won or placed in no fewer than 7 competitive events, including; ‘Boogie by the Bay’, ‘Tampa Bay Classic’ and ‘Swingtime in the Rockies’.

WCS Novice Workshops February 2010
Brisbane West Coast Swing is running West Coast Swing Novice workshops on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th February 2010, between 2 - 4pm at the St Barnabas Church Hall at 28 St Barnabas Place, Red Hill. These workshops include basic patterns and all of the fundamental basic technique which is unique to West Coast Swing. The aim of these workshops is to get you up and grooving on the social dance floor sooner!! The workshops cost $125 per person which is equivalent to what you would pay in a class over the same period. No Partner or Experience Required. Call us to book your place.

If you missed them in Sydney or if you just can’t get enough of them, then this is the routine for you...
“What’s Your Name” will give you a taste of what West Coast Swing is all about and it’s a great way to meet people at the same time. This routine is aimed at any dancer with West Coast Swing experience who is interested in learning a routine which has been choreographed by the No.1 WCS couple in the USA. NO PARTNER REQUIRED…just turn up and have fun!!
The “What’s Your Name” routine will be taught over 5 Sundays in March (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th) and April 11th from 2-4pm at the St Barnabas Church Hall at 28 St Barnabas Place, Red Hill. The cost of the routine is $125 per person. That’s a great deal for 10 hours of dance training!!
