Q. Where is Mad Dance House?

A. Mad Dance House is located at Level 2, 3 & 4, 99 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane CBD
It is:

• Directly opposite the Myer Centre Car Park Entrance

• Beside Elizabeth Arcade (but not in it)

• In between Napoleon Cosmetics and Dogstar

• Take the same entrance as you would to get to 'Govinda's' vegetarian restaurant.
  

Q. Is there easily accessible parking nearby?

A. There is unlimited parking at the Myer Centre car park across the road after 1.30pm for only $8.00 (this is a special rate for all MDH dancers! Just remember to get your ticket stamped at reception).There is also on street parking available for free after 7pm – try Mary, Margaret or Charlotte Street.

Q. Do I need to bring a partner?

A. No, a partner is not required. Our classes are rotational so that you have the opportunity to meet and dance with a variety of people during the night.

Q. Do I need previous dance experience?

A. No, not at all. Our classes are aimed at the beginner level…and because this is the dedicated WCS class in Brisbane, everyone is a beginner, so you will not be alone!

Q. What should I wear?

A. Any comfortable, casual clothing is fine. It is not necessary to buy expensive dance shoes when you first start to learn. Try to avoid wearing shoes which will ‘stick‘to the floor (such as joggers). We recommend any shoes with a low heel and ankle strap for ladies, and smooth-soled dress shoes for men.

Q. Do I need to bring anything?

A. It’s a good idea to bring deodorant and a bottle of water.
